Exalting Christ Through His Word

About the Men’s Ministry at Heritage

The Men of Heritage

The Men's Ministry exists to provide ministry opportunities for the men of Heritage Christian Fellowship that would reflect the gifting of the Holy Spirit in instruction, encouragement, and discipleship, being both the recipient as well as the provider.

Acts 2:42, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
II Timothy 2:2, “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
II Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

Using the preceding principles, Men’s Ministry meetings are conducted with the intent of personal and corporate spiritual growth, ministering to one another, and learning to live and defend the Gospel. The following are incorporated:
• Teaching
• Discussion
• Assignments

The Men’s Ministry meets the first Monday evening of each month from 6:00-8:00pm. Meetings begin at 6:00pm with dinner. Dinner may be pot-providence or catered. Following the dinner, the men spend time studying the Word. Teachings address topics and/or themes directly related to Biblical principles that define the purpose of Men’s Ministry.

The responsibilities for Men’s Ministry are divided by the current Men’s Council as follows: Richard Encinias is responsible for teaching and recruiting other teachers, Dennis Junick coordinates and arranges all meals for meetings, and Chris Rierson provides communication regarding the Men’s Ministry.

The Men’s Ministry desires to work alongside other ministries of Heritage. If the Men’s Ministry can assist another ministry of Heritage, please contact the Men’s Council.

If you are interested in being involved with the Men’s Ministry, we encourage you to attend our monthly meetings and contact the Men’s Council. It is our desire to learn more about the men of Heritage and involve them as we learn of their gifts, desires for service, availability, needs, and other contributions they bring to strengthen the body.
