About the Men’s Ministry at Heritage

The Men of Heritage

The Men's Ministry exists to provide ministry opportunities for the men of Heritage Christian Fellowship that would reflect the gifting of the Holy Spirit in instruction, encouragement, and discipleship, being both the recipient as well as the provider.

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES
Acts 2:42, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
II Timothy 2:2, “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnessed, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
II Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

STRUCTURE
Using the preceding principles, Men’s Ministry meetings are conducted with the intent of personal and corporate spiritual growth, ministering to one another, and learning to live and defend the Gospel. The following are incorporated:
• Teaching
• Discussion
• Assignments

SCHEDULE
The Men’s Ministry meets the first Monday evening of each month from 6:00-8:00pm. Meetings begin at 6:00pm with dinner. Dinner may be pot-providence or catered.
